Newsletter information
When you join The Sunday Dex, the site stores the email address you enter, your consent time, subscription status, the page where you joined, and basic record timestamps. Duplicate addresses are combined so the owner has one current subscription record per email.
The list can be exported by the site owner as a protected CSV file for newsletter delivery and subscriber administration. Dex Daily does not sell the list. Access to the export requires a private owner credential and is not available through the public website interface.
Unsubscribing from email
Enter the same email address in any newsletter panel and choose ‘Unsubscribe email’. The record will be marked unsubscribed and must not be included in active mailings. A limited suppression record may remain so the address is not accidentally re-added without fresh consent and so consent history can be understood.
Browser notifications
Dex Daily asks for notification permission only after you press ‘Allow notifications’. If you agree, the site stores the browser’s push endpoint, encryption keys supplied by that browser, consent time, subscription status, source page and basic browser information. It does not receive your browser password or browsing history.
Push endpoints and keys are sensitive technical identifiers used only to deliver Dex Daily alerts. They are not displayed publicly or included in the newsletter export. Expired or disabled endpoints are marked inactive. You can turn notifications off from the same panel or from your browser’s site settings.
Technical delivery data
The hosting provider may process ordinary request information—such as IP address, browser details, requested page and security logs—to deliver and protect the website. Dex Daily does not currently run reader accounts, comments or a first-party advertising profile system.
Images, affiliate links and external services
Some editorial images are delivered from Unsplash, while product images may come from credited editorial or manufacturer sources. Loading a remote image can send basic request information to that provider. If you click an external affiliate link, the destination service may use its own cookies or tracking under its own privacy policy.
Amazon and other external product pages are outside Dex Daily. Information entered after leaving this website is handled by the destination service, not by Dex Daily.
Security and changes
Subscriber records are stored in the site’s server-side database rather than in the visible webpage. Owner export and notification-send functions require a private credential. No internet service can promise absolute security, so access is limited to what the feature needs.
This policy will be reviewed when Dex Daily adds a new data feature, changes providers or introduces a verified reader-contact channel.
